COUNTRY HERBALS

Summer is well and truly here in S.A. with a distinct lack of rainfall. An early thunderstorm combined with warmth and humidity has seen lush growth on many plants including veggie seedlings, with a huge range of herbs on the shelves. A number of damaging frosts this year meant that production of frost tender herbs including tropicals was  impededed but are coming on quickly now.

You can  find a huge range of annual and perennial basils,  uncommon dye plants, and S.A. best range of medicinal herbs, plus so much more!

## Christmas Closure. The Nursery will be closed  from Friday 20th December and re-opening January 8th 2025, Appointments can be made via the FB page  during the  Christmas break.

You can also find me at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market in Mt. Barker every Saturday 8.30-12.30pm.

I'm really excited to be bringing even more fantastic herbs, veggies and flowers in the new season, so keep your eye on my fb page to hear about new releases and what's currently on the shelves....

I love to share my passion for growing and using herbs.

I'm constantly adding to my ranges, however new lines may not always find their way onto the catalogue list. If you are looking for something in particular that you can't see, feel free to contact me.

Advise is freely given to make sure you succeed when planting your new purchases.

.And don't forget to like my Facebook page to be kept up-to-date with what new herbs and vegetables are available.

I have been living at Woodchester for 20 years. The area is in a rain shadow with an annual rainfall of 14" per annum. The temperate can rise to the high 40C in Summer and as low as minus -5C in Winter. Predomitary sheep and cropping country, with bluestone and limestone rock in many areas with red loam soils. There is no mains water and I rely on rainwater storage for the nursery. Even though it can get quite cold, the climate still allows me to grow a number of tropical herbs under cover, while plants like Capers thrive.

There is no mail order service available, but feel free to pay a visit to the nursery or catch me at the market.
